Two gigs in one night again - both fortunately only a short ride on the Northern Line apart. The evening starts at the Dublin Castle with it's excellent (and lethal) Westons Old Rosie cider on the real ale pump!

Pussycat and the Dirty Johnsons are a lot of fun as usual.

The band are on a short tour and this is their London Halloween gig - it seeming a bit odd that Pussycat herself has chosen to dress in pink and yellow for the occasion instead of the more usual black.

This band never fail to entertain with their 50's rockabilly sounds, tales of zombies and having 'Trouble with the Devil'.

Next on the bill are Camden's infamous glam punk sleazesters Girls On Top continuing the Halloween theme.

This band have been away from the scene for a while due to illness, but are now back to scare normal 'decent thinking' people with their sordid tales of sleaze, Monster Babies, and worse.  Unfortunately I have to rush off during their set if I'm to get to my next port of call...

It's not long before I find myself at Nambucca for the Halloween edition of David Ryder Prangly's 'Glam Rock Youth Club'.

Much though I like this friendly venue run by genuine rock fans with it's bar serving real ale - there is one thing I find (as a pseudo photographer) really annoying - that bloody smoke machine!  It makes getting decent pictures virtually impossible.

These club nights are always fun - with a good atmosphere and the house band playing non-stop 70's/80's glam rock classics.

The door and bar prices are pretty reasonable here, and the staff are cool - it all encourages you to come back.  Unlike some well known Camden venues - NOT including the Dublin Castle which I always enjoy visiting.
Nambucca closed in early 2014.
