	Down to the 12 Bar Club for the second night running. Of the four bands on the bill only two have showed up.  One has cancelled, one apparently simply hasn't bothered to turn up.  The Impersonals simply weren't very good. Not terrible or anything, but not worth leaving the bar for. The Vacants were much better and played their punk rock fast and with fiery passion. The cover versions they used to play in their earlier days have been ditched, apart from throwing in a decent version of 'Pretty Vacant' at the end. The headline band tonight was supposed to be Fuck All Else To Do. It looks like they did have something else to do 'cos they didn't turn up.  No phone call to say there was a problem or they couldn't make it. Nothing. By midnight there was still no sign of them and the promoter hadn't heard anything so I left to get the last tube. They were a band I was looking forward to seeing again, but next time I think I'll have something else to do... It was worth seeing The Vacants though, so the evening wasn't entirely wasted.
