	This was a fun gig in one of the West End's most 'intimate' venues.  I always enjoy visiting the 12 Bar Club and this was no exception. Girls On Top were entertaining as usual. For the second gig recently guitarist Neil Downe's place was filled by Mel from Mikabomb Neil has a spine from a sea urchin stuck inside his index finger which makes playing the guitar rather difficult. Mel did an excellent job filling in for the band's ailing guitarist, although she said she was drunk beforehand and couldn't remember any of the new songs she's had to learn! Still, there were very few mistakes in the set and it was one of the most fun Girls On Top gigs I've seen.  Neil Downe got up to sing the last song of the set, and managed to play guitar on the last two songs as well. A couple of tasters from the forthcoming album were given an airing too.
