	Good show from JOANovARC at G Lounge, although the sound wasn't that great - the vocals and guitar could have been louder. The band's performance was excellent as usual though, and once again a crowd who mostly had no idea who the band were seemed very impressed judging by the reception they got. My friends weren't too impressed by the next band - a female fronted sleazy rock 'n' roll outfit called (I Think) the Hyeenas. My friends left but I stayed to check 'em out - they seemed to improve as their set went on and they had quite a charismatic singer. They were followed by King Lizard, another sleazy rock 'n' roll band. Like the previous band they threw themselves into their performance and made an effort to entertain, but they really didn't seem to have anything to make them stand out from all the other bands to seem who try to be Backyard Babies...
